Program Details

Day 1
Acclimatisation

Get acclimatised to the fresh mountain air. A briefing by Team Redwood introduces the participants to the agenda, objectives, and outcomes of the tour.

Day 2
City Orientation

Meet Ladakh - the land of artistic heritage and cultural history. Get to know more through curated documentaries and walking tours with experts, and understand the challenges of preservation and restoration.

Day 3
Sustainable Technologies

Do you know how the daunting tasks of waste management, food processing, and eco-friendly construction are accomplished when you're 3000 meters above sea level? Well, you'll find out.

Day 4
Educational Reform

Get involved in the day-to-day functioning of a solar-powered school, and gain an appreciation of the challenges involved in education delivery. Assist the youth to be self-dependent within existing conditions.

Day 5
Excursion to Nubra Valley

A thrilling ride on the highest motorable road in the world via the Khardung La Pass, with views of the mighty blue Shyok river.
