They’ll engage in service-oriented projects for a greener future and participate in creative workshops, upcycling waste into art, fostering both artistic expression and environmental responsibility.
Program Details
Step foot in the beautiful union territory of Pondicherry and begin your Edutour with a program briefing by Team Redwood. Explore the vibrant French Colonies with a local, and soak in the sound of waves at the beach in the evening.
Visit the beautiful, growing global township of Auroville — home to 2,700 people from 50 different nations — to get unique perspectives about its culture. Interact with local students who will introduce you to the township and their day-to-day lives.
Learn how bamboo as a building material can benefit our environment, witness how locals use solar energy in their kitchen, interact with musicology experts of global repute, and finally, build your own instrument with qualified craftsmen — the busiest day of the Edutour.
Volunteer at an organic farm through the day building a deeper understanding of sustainable living and agriculture. Rejuvenate with an evening full of kayaking, surfing or jet-skiing at the beach.
Visit Mahabalipuram — a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its monuments and temples built over a thousand years ago. Brainstorm on your learnings with your tour members for a quick recap as you conclude the Edutour.
